A regular repeated behaviour of a person that tends to occur or performed by the person unconsciously is called a habit. Habit of a person is something that relies on the three different step processes.

The first part of a habit is the key or a cue that activates the habit in a person. Te moment you take keys of your car in your hand, it immediately activates the habit of driving a car in your mind. But in real the process of driving a car is when segregated into number of smaller parts is quite a complex process to be performed by a person.

The second process that comes in a three step process is a routine. Now let us continue with the same example of a car as in the previous part. While driving a car, according to the person the routine will be shifting of gears, stepping on the breaks, looking straight and rear view mirrors, slowing down or driving in a speed by controlling the race in the car, releasing gas, drunken man walking on the roads in an irregular manner and lots more small things that we are supposed to combine while driving a car.

The last part that comes in the three step process is the reward of your habit. Now, let us suppose that you are expected to meet your loved one at some far away restaurant for a dinner. You activate your habit by taking keys in your hands and follow your routine of driving a car with all those small little things included and finally you reach the restaurant where you get your award. You meet your loved one at the restaurant but you don’t realise that you drove all the way to the restaurant to meet your loved one. Rather you prefer to stick to your award and enjoy the moment. Now, this is the reason why you are not aware about most of your habits and its causes behind plus its consequences.

Defining a process clearly will make you understand the reality that how your body actually works towards a particular habit without making you realise about its performance.

After we understand the 3 step process behind our habit, we can conclude it easily that we should stick to those habits that are healthy and have the power to carve you into a better person rather than transforming into those about whom we are going to talk in the following article.

1. No Breakfast

People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2 . Overeating

3. Smoking

It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption

Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

7. Head covered while sleeping

Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness

Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
